Professor David Boling
Biography
David Boling spent 26 years in the U.S. Army, first as an Infantryman and then as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, before retiring to Rio Rancho, NM where he currently lives with his wife of 23-years and two children.
A lifelong martial artist, the Guild of Combatives Black Belts recognized him as a Combatives Brown Belt in 2022. A Modern Army Combatives Program instructor since 2003, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt since 2021, and a Sharpshooter classified competitive shooter in the International Defensive Pistol Association. David has completed the Rangemaster LLC, Instructor Development & Certification course; U.S. Air Force, Principles of Instruction Course; the New Mexico State, Concealed Handgun Instructor Training; the National Rifle Association, Basic Firearms Instructor and Personal Protection Instructor courses and multiple other classes.
He continues to seek out and enjoy teaching and training opportunities, being able to share knowledge, pressure test ideas and techniques, and develop networks of like-minded people is his current direction.
